North County Canine Training

We enrolled our most recent rescue, Benny with North County Canine Training after he jumped our fence to lunge and bark at a neighbor walking by; along with showing signs of dog aggression on our daily walks. The techniques NCCT taught us have been a game changer, while using positive reinforcement. Benny is obedient and the skills he learned instilled confidence in him. Our walks have transformed from a wrestling match to a total pleasure. Nick is a fabulous trainer! Thank you North County Canine Training.

I took my dog for a walk today when he suddenly stopped and became very alert. He kept glancing between me and something ahead, refusing to move forward. That’s when I saw it—a baby rattlesnake right in front of us. It hadn’t moved yet, but my dog had already sensed it. This is exactly the kind of response he learned during his training with Dustin. As soon as the rattler started to rattle, my dog immediately turned and pulled me away from the danger. Without that training, this situation could have ended very differently. The snake was nearly invisible among the shrubs and rocks on the trail. I’m incredibly grateful for the training—it truly made all the difference today. Dustin’s training is truly top-notch—absolutely deserving of 5 stars! I’ll definitely be coming back. His rattlesnake avoidance training is as real and effective as it gets. Dustin’s professionalism, knowledge, and calm demeanor set him apart. He doesn’t just train dogs—he teaches them life-saving skills.
