North County Canine Training

We have 2 4.5 months old Rottweiler pups. We were waffling if we made a poor decision in getting 2 at the same time, and even more difficult, littermates. The team here has really helped us in managing our pups. We have nearly completed our 8 sessions program and are so happy with the progress of our pups. We feel confident that with the training the dogs and us have received we will have great family dogs. We will be going back for snake training and advanced protection training when our babies are ready for it. The communication has been great. Lori has been our main trainer and she has obvious love and enthusiasm. She has also regularly given us ownership/care advice and provided constant information on pet resources and products. We feel confident in our decision to keep our siblings and happy we found North Country Canine

I highly recommend North County Canine Training for your puppy or adult dogs training needs. The whole team is comprised of amazing trainers. We started Kip with on leash lessons that included the Beginner Practice Class then we went on to the off leash class. Not only is Dustin the best dog trainer he has also helped train me so I could be a better dog parent! Kip is now a very well behaved and obedient Dood and he didn’t lose any bit of his charisma or character. North County Canine Training really took care of Kip and treated him like family. He loves going back and seeing his favorite trainers from time to time.

I have no doubt they are some of THE BEST dog trainers in SoCal. They are all well known in the mil/working dog world...unfortunately I have to agree with it other poster that communication was consistently horrible. Forgotten appointments etc. I'm hoping it's just growing pains bc they are a huge asset to inland noco, but if I can't get in - it does my dog no good. I still intend to try again at another time because I know they are THAT good. I'm looking forward to updating my review at that time in hopes all kinks are worked out.

Our 5 month old miniature schnauzer, Peter, was really aggressive and couldn't be groomed or touched by anyone without him biting. Dustin and his team (shout out to Phoenix) did an amazing job identifying his fear based aggression and helped Peter overcome his fears. Peter can now be touched and even groomed without being so aggressive and without biting hard enough to draw blood. He is still a puppy and has a lot of energy, but this was not just an energetic puppy. Phoenix did a great job preparing Peter for grooming and spent a lot of time with him on the grooming table where he is now much more comfortable. Thank you to North County Canine Training for making this possible for our little guy. You guys are amazing.
