Through basic obedience training you will learn to create a path of communication between you and your dog. I will show you easy to implement fixes for behavior problems. I will show you techniques that speed up and strengthen training. It's all about communication. Let us help you make your life with your dog a happy one. My 14 month old shepherd barks continuously at people. He is a rescue we have him 7 weeks so far,He even barks at people on TV. He used to bark at noises, cars garbage cans but not any more just people. What do we do
Your dog is getting more used to his surroundings as he has already stopped barking in some situations. Your goal is to modify his behavior in all situations. Obedience training will give you techniques and methods to communicate your desire to the dog and for you to understand what the dog is saying to you. Its difficult to make recommendations without first evaluating the dog. I can explain the probable trigger for the barking, why the dog is barking and establish a process to control the barking on your terms, but it would take a bit of time and some demonstration to communicate effectively. Why not give us a call and set up and evaluation? GSD are my specialty. They are easy to train once the path of communication between you and the dog is defined. I use minimally aversive training, no prong collars no shock collars no food. The dog works because it wants to please, once he understands your wants. Let us show you how to show him what pleases you.

The Freedom No Pull harnesses that he uses are the most effective tool in dealing with high energy and crazy puppies, while also teaching them in a safe way. James’s methods are confident, loving and long term. Ellie was lovingly called a little “monster” by everyone who met her because she always seemed aggressive and off the walls- we learned so much about dog behavior and how to appropriately teach her to be social. I would’ve never imagine that this girl who used to make my ankles bleed on walks can go from that to a perfect girl off leash! Thanks for all that you do James!!
Wonderful trainer. Can't recommend nearly enough for anyone whose dog needs some extra training.
