I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Nikki's Kinetic K9 Training. I was having a tough time with my puppy, who was reactive and starting to become aggressive, especially around other dogs. I reached out to Nikki's K9 training in a moment of desperation and could not be more grateful that I did! Nikki totally renewed my love for my dog and has set my dog up for success at home, in stressful environments, and in life overall. After the first session with Nikki, I had a whole new dog. Nikki immediately addressed the aggression/reactivity by teaching confidence and proper dog introduction. After just a few sessions with Nikki, my dog was confident, calmer, able to walk politely on a leash, knew how to look for leadership, and followed training directions. I worked with 3 other trainers (private and group sessions) and a dog socialization program without any progress before I met Nikki. Nikki's program has given me a happy, confident pup who now loves meeting new dogs and people. After working with Nikki for about a month, I was able to take my dog on off-leash hikes with complete confidence in his recall. It is genuinely life-changing to take my dog with me everywhere (including stores, busy cities, and parks) with full confidence that he will stay with me, follow commands, and not have any issues approaching dogs. On top of the training, Nikki has a wealth of knowledge in canine health and nutrition. She helped design a feeding plan for my puppy customized to his breed and size. Nikki has been able to answer every question I've had related to dog ownership or health with expertise and compassion. On a related note, I have saved so much on vet bills thanks to Nikki's help with eye inflammations, tick prevention, and rashes. Most of all, I appreciate how Nikki understands my dog's needs. She does not try to train away what makes my puppy unique. Instead, she customizes her approach to align with the dog's overall motivation, making him a much happier puppy!
