Nikki Banfield's School For K9's

I wasn't going to write this but I think people need to be aware. I contacted Nikki this past summer. Like a previous review said she bragged about how long she's been doing this and about her dogs. The very first thing she did was choke my dog by the collar lifting his two front legs. This is a 14 week old German shepherd why choke him like that. She told me every time he mouths you choke him out. The only thing that did was give my puppy very bad anxiety. The. She told me to pat him and if he doesn't like it choke him by the collar. The only thing that did was my dog being scared of me. To the point wear I couldn't even touch him or pet him he was terrified of my hand. He even started growing at me and biting me because he's scared of my hand. I told her of the issues that wear happening she said I need to do the other training course which cost $900 dollars. I paid half of it and in the lesson she didn't fix anything or help me with the issues. She's over priced for no reason. She brags about her dogs I met her female dog and that dog is out of control no obedience what do ever. I would not recommend Nikki Banfield school of k9 it just made my good boy puppy aggressive. Now I'm working with another trainer fixing all the issues she created for me. Thanks a lot Nikki

I called for a consultation. Days later, I was met with a 5 minute phone call of her bragging about how long she’s been doing this. She seemed to have made her mind up about not wanting to work with my dog without even meeting him or me. Something about not wanting to lose her license due to lack of training; again she never even laid eyes on my dog. The vibe was very poor shortly into the phone call. So I thanked her for her time and will continue my search elsewhere.
