Niki the Dog Trainer, LLC

I've kept several dogs in my lifetime, but Dottie is a special challenge. When I got her from the shelter, she was not a puppy, but at 18 months she is not fully mature, either. Social graces were lacking, tho she quickly bonded with me, and her behavior indicated past abuse. For the first time ever, I sought professional help, and I'm glad I found Niki. She gave me the tools needed to bring Dottie back from lost. Success is up to me, but Niki's talents are what make it possible, and I'm grateful.

Niki helped our Frenchie with some reactivity towards other dogs, anything with wheels, and select people. Although he’s a stubborn little fellow, Niki spent a lot of time moving in a positive direction towards much less reactivity with reverse board and train sessions and private sessions too. She helped us as first time puppy owners how to help our pup be as successful as possible! Niki is extremely helpful, flexible, thoughtful and goes out of her way to ensure both the dogs and their humans are successful.

After adopting our beautiful 70lb 4yr old male dog, my wife and I quickly realized we had our hands full. He was lovely in the home but while on walks he would aggressively lunge at bicyclist, skateboarders, rabbits, squirrels, other dogs you name it! It was dangerous for us on the other end of the leash and literally everyone in our neighborhood. Niki worked with him (and us) for 7 weeks of private training lessons. He no longer lunges and can stay on the bike path as a cyclist rides past him! We are so much more confident in our understanding of him and it's all thanks to Niki. Finding her was the best thing we've ever done for our dog. She is patient and kind with both the animal and humans! If you need a trainer Niki is by far the BEST in the Denver area.
