Niki the Dog Trainer, LLC

Niki is a fabulous dog trainer and person! She is kind, patient, knowledgeable and fun! She helped us so much with our issues with our rescue dog and has been an on-going source of support. Also, she is an excellent communicator and sends incredibly helpful recap emails after each session which include homework exercises, training tips and countless words of wisdom. She is such a pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend her!

We have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Artemis and George, who are great dogs, but needed a little extra help with certain behaviors in our house. We hired Niki to do a board and train in our home. Over the few weeks that followed, I watched my dogs turn into attentive well-behaved pets who no longer jump on visitors, quit counter surfing, resist barking at people passing our house, come when called, and kennel on command. The transformation is wonderful! This is a dog trainer who knows her stuff! Niki works with positive reinforcement, combining lots of love, praise, and treats to keep the dogs motivated. She is incredibly positive and patient when working with her clients, both pets and people. Niki goes the extra mile to ensure success by sending detailed notes about how to keep the dogs on the right track when she isn’t here. These notes include possible scenarios that may come up with the dogs’ behavior and how to handle them step by step. As someone who is forgetful, it’s great to have a reference to remind me what to do. I highly recommended working with Niki. She is professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, she is genuinely great at what she does. I now have two well-behaved dogs who are a joy to be around!

One of the easiest 5 star reviews I've made. It's not because Niki is one of the best dog trainers I've worked with (She is), or because my dog absolutely loves her (He does), but because she really makes you and your dog feel valued. She's always extremely responsive and respectful of your schedule. My dog has seen a ton of behavioral improvement since working with Niki. Niki teaches both the dog as well as the owner for success in the future. I couldn't recommend Niki more, if you're in the Denver area and need a trainer, she's easily #1 in my book. Niki has been amazing! I have 3 dogs and 2 foster dogs. She came to my house and worked with 5 dogs, including 3 puppies that have never had training. She taught everyone, sit, lay down, leave it and high 5. Before her help, I was feeling lost and hopeless with potty training and she made a huge difference just after her first visit!! All the pups are now potty trained and happy! I can’t believe how much impact she had made in just a handful of visits! She has amazing energy and taught me a lot as well. It’s not just training the dogs and puppies, but humans need training too! I highly recommend Niki!! I’m so glad we found her!
