I want to share with y'all what a great job John did with our pup, Tanner! When I took Tanner to John, he was so full of energy and lack of manners that he was actually dangerous for me. John worked with him patiently, professionally, and did an in-depth study of his personality. We now have a sweet, responsive and well behaved pet/family member. His recall is 100% right now...that is very impressive. His "heal" is a little rambling still and he needs reminders, but then he is still very young. When he hears, "no" his ears go up and his attention is completely on me. And he certainly knows what "place" means. So what turns out was a dog that I didn't think I was going to be able to keep, being a real keeper. One of the most impressive outcomes from our dealing with John turns out that Tanner "loves" him. That shows me how John deals with his students! I highly recommend Niche Creek Kennels and John Hoffman as a trainer. Thank you, John

I cannot express enough how happy and proud we are of the amazing training our Bettie girl received over the last 2 months from John Hoffman@ Niche Creek Kennels . John trained Bettie with love, respect and a million "good girls". Not to mention he had to train me too to work with Bettie and he was super patient and reassuring. We are so grateful for John and amazed by Bettie. 100/10 would recommend!!!

Highly recommend! If you are looking for a puppy, training or to purchase a started or finished duck dog make sure to call Niche Creek Kennels. John can offer a customized dog for you and how you hunt. He treats every customer like family and is always a phone call away. I have purchased a puppy from him and a well started dog (closer to finished compared to most people’s definition), both have been outstanding. John doesn’t treat you like your another number added to the kennel. They start with finding out what is important to you and tailor a solution. If hunt test and titles are your goal John will accommodate.
