We brought our headstrong but very sweet Bouvier des Flandres to Neuman's on the suggestion of a friend that had 'heard' about the school. We were envisioning 2 senior citizens being dragged down the street by this soon to be 90 pound dog if we didn't do something. Well, he came back a different dog altogether. Still the same sweet loving personality, but a respectful addition in our home. It was the best money we ever spent for our dog and the best decision we made. Fast forward 18 months - enter an even MORE headstrong and unruly French Bulldog. The owners of Neuman's raise Frenchies so I knew they knew just how to handle this tornado on four legs. Frenchies are hard to train and hard to discipline but 12 weeks under their guiding force and our new puppy came back a different girl as well. No change to their personalities - only better canine citizens. The photos and updates sent each Monday were fun and as well as exciting to see progress being made. Our graduation day spent learning how to further train once the dogs were home was fun and very worthwhile. Dogs are a commitment. We are now able to take both just about anywhere and they are always welcome. We have since sent 3 of our dog loving friends and their dogs to Neuman's and all are praising our referral as well as the great trainers at Neuman's training facility. Don't kid yourself, training is a life long process with dogs, but time at Neuman's provided us with a sound foundation to build on. I am so very thankful to the entire team. I could not have done it myself. And....my friends marvel at how well behaved our dogs continue to be. Everyone comments when they see us all walking together!

We had a wonderful experience with the Neuman K-9 Academy. Our dog, Ozzie, complete the 8 week puppy camp and the difference in his behavior and responsiveness has been incredible. He now follows commands so well and seems much more confident and focused. The trainers are knowledgeable, patient, and clearly care about the dogs they work with. They not only train the dogs but also help owners understand how to continue reinforcing the training at home, which made a huge difference for us. Our hope is that Ozzie will soon become a therapy dog, and thanks to the strong foundation he received at Neumann K-9 Academy, we feel he’s really on the right path. We’re so grateful for the time and dedication the team put into working with him. He is now signed up for the 4 week extension class. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional, effective training for their dog!

After much research, we enrolled our 6-month Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy in the 12-week puppy boot camp program. We are impressed with the program and overjoyed with the results. We knew what to expect when we enrolled our puppy. As promised, every Monday we received a status report on what was accomplished for the week and how our puppy was doing. We were given a series of videos to watch before graduation day that were helpful. On the day we picked up our puppy, we received in-depth training both “in the classroom” and out in the field. We had plenty of hands-on time where we could experience firsthand the commands our puppy had mastered. My wife and I were blown away with how far our puppy had come since we dropped her off. She went from uncontrollable to disciplined while still being our giggly, enthusiastic puppy. I couldn’t believe she didn’t jump up on me when I first saw her that day. This is a very professional organization. They communicate well, set clear expectations, provide excellent handler training, have an effective system that you can learn and reinforce, and provide nice touches like programming the gear we purchased specifically for our dog. We also love that they offer a boarding service where our dog can get tune-ups while we are on vacation. It’s an investment, but with a nice return. My wife and I hold Neuman in high regard and strongly recommend their services.
