Nebraska Dog Trainers

We invested a lot of time and effort researching the various trainers for Willow (15 mo Aussie) and Liz at NE Dog Trainers delivered. Willow is incredibly smart / energetic, but gets anxious around new people / situations. Liz recognized this immediately and built a training plan around her needs. She leveraged her extensive experience, passion for development, and compassion for pups while working with Willow. The results were amazing! Our sincerest thanks to Liz, and all the NE Dog Trainers staff, for making the same investment in our Willow!!

I am SO GLAD I found Nebraska Dog Trainers!!! I have a 1 year old Pitt/lab/cattle dog mix named Indiana. He was pretty wild and crazy, just a happy undisciplined puppy that I didn’t know how to train. I stumbled across NDT and did their 5 lesson training sessions with Karli. He responded really well to the ecollar and things did improve! However, he wasn’t where I wanted him to be after the 5 lessons, and I thought about doing more lessons, but I was going out of town anyway and I needed to board him, and I didn’t want him to board with someone who wouldn’t keep up with his training, I was afraid he would regress. So instead I did the 1 week board and train with Jessica. She sent me updates every evening letting me know what he was learning and how he was eating/sleeping/etc. She sent pictures and videos and responded to all my questions. If Indie was nervous about things, she would take it slower and not push him too fast, which I greatly appreciated! When I got home and picked him up, I was utterly amazed. We went to Mahoney park and he off-leash heeled so perfectly, and then I’d let him run and his recall was perfect! I’ve been home now for a few weeks. I’ve taken Indie on an off-leash adventure almost every day since getting home, and his skills are getting better all the time. I don’t have to use the collar much at all, I call him to come (even from far away) and he turns on his heel and runs back to me, happy tongue flapping around. I’ve called him while he was chasing a squirrel, while he was running towards another dog, and he will stop what he’s doing and come to me every single time. I NEVER thought I would see that happen with him. This is so freeing for us both. Indie can finally have the life I’ve always wanted for him. He knows now that I’m the leader and he has to take his cues from me. I love him to pieces and I can’t thank Nebraska Dog Trainers and Jessica enough! When I get another dog I’ll be coming back. They’ve got my business for life.

Michele, Jessica and Shyra were outstanding training our family dog Millie! From start to finish they were open to what we wanted for training and what was best for us. They were very communicative throughout the process with daily texts and pictures and it was great that they took millie out to different stores and parks for training. When our situation changed they didn't hesitate to do what was best for us and the dog. We won't look anywhere else for dog training than here.
