NCK9 has been nothing but accommodating and professional! Brought my 16 month male Pitbull in for board & train because he was beginning to become reactive at fences and towards all animals. Fast forward 4 weeks and I can hardly believe how they managed to take my 70# tank and turn him into a docile and well mannered pet. He is no longer reactive to neighborhood cats, dogs, bunnies. He’s attentive and even tempered. I have since sent off my older pitbull to them for board and train. Jim/Cody I truly can’t thank yall enough for helping us bridge this training gap.

I was referred to Jim and his team at nck9 to train my year and a half old Rottweiler. We love dogs and we were expecting our first baby and were wanting a bigger tougher looking dog to stay home and watch over the family "we did not purchase our dog from nck9". We brought our puppy home and started realizing with his size and energy that we were going to need him to be well trained for when our baby came. We decided to go with the moth boarding program Jim and his team offers. When we dropped our dog off he was sweet but absolutely wild and out of control, knocking guests over in our home, moving the furniture while playing and he did not listen to us much at all. After just two weeks I came to drop off food for our dog and I immediately could tell the difference. our pup was calm, listening to commands and was actually waking on a leash. this was just at the two week mark. when I cam to pick our pup up after his full month at nck9 I was at a loss for words. our pup would place, and stay on his bed, followed all commands and was a gentlemen on the leash and around other people and dogs. our wild boy who could flip our couch over will now calmly place in his bed stay laying down and not move until he is told to do so. We are now able to take him on walks and have full control over him, we can have guests over without putting the dogs outside and we have a 10 month old baby who can crawl freely around the home accompanied by his big four legged brother. if you are looking for help with your dog this is THE place to go! I can not say enough good things of how our dog was kept, treated and the amazing line of communication we had with the team. In the future we will sending all of our dogs to nck9. This training has allowed us to have guest over, travel with our dog and has given us the ability to have full control over such a big boy letting us give him a much more full life of traveling and hiking and making new friends!

We brought a yellow lab puppy into the family. He is not the first puppy we've trained. But his energy levels are off the charts (Jim confirmed what we thought, that he could be a fantastic bomb-sniffing or SAR dog). We made little progress on our own. After 5 weeks at NC K9, he's a new dog. Henry is still high energy, but he knows enough specific commands that we can now channel that energy when we need to. And he's a dream on a leash, after previously pulling non-stop. Cannot recommend NC K9 highly enough. They know their business.
