NC K9 LLC

I have been taking my dog Bravo to NCK9 for 4 years and have nothing but positive things to say about this facility and staff! I have been in the dog world for many years, from Schutzhund in Europe in the late 80's to doing competitive obedience with my retired SchH dogs here in the USA (somehow even managing to win a couple of times at the national level in Obedience)... so I can confidently say I have seen the good and the bad in dog sports/training. Having been to Jim's place twice a week for 4 years I can say without any hesitation that Jim and his staff are definitely great with the dogs, always fair, and one of the very few places I would feel comfortable recommending for training. I have moved to Arizona and sadly will no longer be able to train there anymore but wanted to say a huge thanks to Jim and his wonderful staff and family for making Bravo who he is today and offering such a great place to train all these years. And if any of them see this, thanks to all the great K9 handlers who have helped work Bravo over these years. Carl, Candice and so many others... I can not recommend NCK9 enough for training. You can send your dog there with absolute confidence knowing they will be well taken care of and trained by the best.

Prior to having my pup join board and train, I confidently thought I would be able to fully train my pup but instead I was unintentionally enabling bad behavior and some reactivity with the constant allowing of the social interaction with kids and people. She started to slowly not like children, was extremely bossy and dominant with other dogs and didn’t understand boundaries. Once she started reacting to me I knew i needed professional help. I left my pup with Jim and his facility for just a little over 4 weeks, the day i picked her up i was immediately impressed! She could walk on a leash without ripping up my crocs!! Her impulsivity was under control. No longer reacting to other dogs, no reactivity to people. Jim gave me some homework and we went back for another training session and she was such a great student! I couldn’t be any happier. This is the best investment you can ever make! My pup has confidence and I have confidence in her! If you’re thinking about it..just do it! It is 100% worth it and Jim and his team are the best around.

By far the best in every aspect! Jim and his family/team are absolutely amazing. Our girl Ada was a nervy anxious mess, like a lot of GSD. Jim KNOWS his stuff and he explains everything so you understand it all. Ada has come such a long way, her confidence is growing, she is obedient, isn’t a anxious ball of crazy 🤣🤣 we are so thankful and blessed to have found Jim and becoming apart of NC K9, Ada will be staying in touch with Jim for years to come! I’ll never go anywhere else 🙌🏽
