Nashville K-9

Can’t say enough good things about Nashville K9. From the very first email, Ali was responsive, helpful, and thorough. Expectations were clearly set and I knew what to expect from Atlas’ time with them. Their training has given Atlas and I such a great foundation to build on and I’m so grateful for the Nashville K9 team’s support and guidance on how to achieve our training goals. They are top class. Love this team and their work!

Nashville K-9 checked all the boxes during our initial search for a Board & Train Program. We were initially drawn to Nashville K-9 based on their training principles. They use positive reinforcement to condition behaviors. Many other facilities use e-collars. We felt the positive reinforcement program would be a better fit for our two huskies in working to resolve their leash reactivity issues. On initial contact, Ali took the time to speak with me about training goals, expectations, the process, etc. He was responsive to all follow-up questions and an absolute pleasure to interact with. The drop off process went seamlessly. We were taken care of by three wonderful team members; two handled getting our dogs situated while one gave us a tour of their impressive facility. During the three weeks, we received photos every Tuesday and Saturday. In the photos, you could actually see the connection between our pups and their trainers! There is nothing more reassuring than seeing just how happy and healthy our dogs looked as they thrived in their new environment. And with so many trainers positively interacting with them, we knew they were well taken care of. The pick-up process was also seamless. We had our own human training to give us the confidence and tools to continue working with our dogs on reinforcing desired behaviors. We were also given access to their video library and encouraged to reach out with any questions. They put so much effort, patience and love into our dogs and have done everything they can to set us up for success. They were able to drastically reduce their leash reactivity in only three weeks’ time!! We absolutely made the right choice to board & train with Nashville K-9. Everyone went above and beyond to train our dogs to better fit our lifestyle. Special shout out to trainer Vafa for breaking out his rollerblades and skating around the neighborhood with our dogs in order to set a good foundation for us to do this activity safely! Will definitely board our dogs with Nashville K-9 again in the future. It’s been a transformative program for our dogs and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
