Nashville K-9

We sent our goldendoodle to Nashville K-9 for 4 weeks and the results we have seen already are unbelievable! We received photos of our dog each week and his progress. Ali and the team at Nashville K-9 were awesome, friendly and helpful! We would highly recommend them to anyone that needs training for their dog. Our dog is now able to sit, lay down, go to a place - all from afar which would have never happened before. We learned so much from them and are now on a schedule/training him every day! Don't think twice about doing this if you think your dog needs training - go now! :)

The team at Nashville K-9 is TOP NOTCH. There is no other way to put it. Their methods are based on Pavlovian concepts that have proven results. Their trainers are patient, knowledgeable, well-trained and loving with the dogs. I always felt my pup was getting the love and attention she deserved. When we went to pick her up, we were given the "why" behind their training so we had a clear understanding of the methods and then given a very clear schedule to maintain all she had learned. The process was so professional and systemized, it made me feel even more proud of my decision to take her to Nashville K-9 and nowhere else. Ginger still has her same personality we love but is now well-mannered and listens like never before. It truly doesn't get anymore professional and successful than this. Took our beloved Thor, an American Bulldog to Nashville K9 as this breed is notoriously stubborn although smart. A couple other trainers were hesitant to deal with him but the staff at Nashville K9 said they would give him a chance. The owner & two staff members met us the day of enrollment so Thor could be evaluated for suitability. After introducing Thor to the staff, the owner thought he’d do just fine, We left Thor there for their 4 week program after touring their heated indoor kennel, home like indoor training room with living room furniture etc., their spacious fenced training field with obstacle course and the impeccable credentials of the Nashville K9 training team (most if not all are certified in canine first aid for example). We went home and worried. But, not for long. Nashville K9 sent us frequent training updates including tons of “action” photos of Thor’s training & progress. Then came Thor’s graduation but with a hitch! Thor’s Mom & Dad had to get TRAINED! Nashville K9 had us come out for a two hour training session so that Thor wouldn’t be disappointed in our performance. We were even given HOME WORK! A comprehensive continuation of training schedule was given to us after satisfying the Nashville K9 trainer that Mom & Dad were up to Thor’s standards! Although I found less expensive alternatives, I am confident that the investment made was actually prudent considering the quality and thoroughness of the services provided. I mean, Thor was even bathed and nails clipped when we picked him up. One last comment and perhaps the most important in my opinion. Nashville K9 does NOT use negative reinforcement techniques. They get stupendous results using love & positive reinforcement only. If you love a dog & need to help it learn obedience, Nashville K9 is the answer.
