Nashville K-9

We sent our 3 year old teacup golden doodle to Nashville k9 for many reasons, but the most important was possession aggression. My wife is 8 months pregnant and he was getting very protective of her and not letting people around her when anyone would come near. He also ran our house. We were very bad at enforcing rules when he was a puppy and we got him right before Covid so he didn’t get to socialize much and spent most of his time with just my wife and I. He basically became the alpha of our house and felt like he needed to be the protector (which we didn’t know) so learning that made sense to us. We were so nervous sending him anywhere because you just never know what they do or how they treat your dog or how he will be or act when he gets home. We have also never been away from him for longer than a week so we were worried about that as well. But we read all of the amazing reviews Nashville k9 had and have heard from so many people about how successful they are and that they are WELL worth the price and that is so true. First of all their facility is top notch. Very elite, clean, well organized and professional. Their trainers are also Top notch and extremely knowledgeable but most importantly LOVING. Which we SO wanted for our sweet boy. We could tell from the minute we saw him how loved he was there and through all of the 84 pictures we got sent, (yes 84 !! definitely one of my favorite things because those pictures made my week every week) we could clearly tell he was happy and they were loving on him! But anyways to make a long story even longer we have had Brody home for just about a week and we can not even believe the difference. He doesn’t growl at me anymore when he I’m near my wife, he doesn’t bark nearly as much. He doesn’t jump on us, tug me along anymore for walks he walks right next to us , he listens so well and learned so many commands while he was there that he still does so well now being home! We do have him on a different schedule than we use to and we do have more rules for him now which they helped us create so that was super helpful, they showed us how to keep up his training and what to do and not to do and we’re so helpful with every question we had. It is worth every penny and then some. We are so happy we sent Brody here and I can’t wait to continue to do more with them. Thank you again Nashville k9 and your whole team!!

Amazing 5 star experience for our awesome Aussie! We had a trainer we had used previously and loved, but she was booked until late Oct. We didn't want to wait that long for training, so my son and I researched online. After talking to several trainers we decided to go with Nashville K-9. We weren't sure what to expect as it's in a converted building. Inside, we were blown away! It was like a whole town was set up so that the dogs receive training in many different places, from a home, to a store, and several other mock businesses. We were initially greeted in a lobby, and then given a tour. The dogs are trained in the businesses, as well as in an agility training room, and a room full of exercise equipment. There is a separate bath/grooming area and a place where the dogs go to decompress and sleep. During the training and boarding we were sent email updates and pictures. When we went to pick up we were taken to a conference room. There we were given details about our dog's training, behavior, and instructions for us at home. We were then reunited with our aussie and shown all of his new skills and how to work with him appropriately at home. The trainer made sure we walked through the drills with him, answering all of our questions. Overall, it was a great experience! The training center was exceptionally clean and the staff was extremely professional. 100% recommend Nashville K-9.

Nashville K9 was an excellent place for our 5 month old Bernedoodle. They have a beautiful facility, excellent trainers and exceeded our expectations. They communicated with us throughout training with pictures and updates and provided us with documentation, video support and on site training so we could continue with our dog’s training when we took him home. They train with a solid understanding of the why’s and really listened to our questions and concerns. I highly recommend!
