FirstBarkAlyssa shares so much helpful advice for helping train our 2 little dogs. She’s knowledgeable and resourceful and we’ve learned so much. After our class ends, we hope to continue with some 1:1 training.

PLEASE NOTE: AS OF JULY 1, 2025 the Napa Humane Education and Dog Training Center will be relocating to 3285 Old California Way, Napa (this building is adjacent to our Spay/Neuter Clinic). Napa Humane Education and Dog Training Center is Napa Humane's Community Education hub! Our training classes focus on helping pets and owner's live their best lives while helping dogs learn how to live alongside their people. We offer puppy-specific options like socialization sessions (Puppy Play Dates) as well as Puppy Preschool and Teen Manners classes. I took several classes at Napa Humane and had a fantastic experience. Alyssa was attentive, thoughtful, and made every class fun. I learned so much about working with my dog, and it was clear my dog enjoyed every session too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for positive, effective training.
We brought our lovely 9 month old pup to the teenage class. Alyssa is knowledgeable and down to earth and a total vibe. The instruction makes sense and fits with real life. We liked it so much we signed up our other dog to brush up on her manners ! Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough about the people and and programs at the Napa Humane Education Center. Alyssa and all the others at Napa Humane are very knowledgeable and enjoy what they do. Alyssa has been taking care of our dog "Bree" since she was a puppy. In a short time they can have a dog looking like a Show Dog in an agility course. Amazing. Thank You. Nat DeVries
