We could not be more grateful for the vast improvements we've seen not only in our dogs' behavior but their quality of life since starting working with My Sidekick Dog Training. Ash focuses not only on training for desirable behaviors, but also on how your dog is feeling in situations and how to understand their boundaries to keep them comfortable and safe. One of our dogs has some genetic behavioral challenges and working with Ash has taken us from her not being able to stay below her threshold when seeing new people to her being able to have people come into our home and yard without any issue. Additionally, she has helped us get access to medical intervention when needed, and has acted as a sounding board in difficult situations we've been through. Ash is also highly involved in the rescue community, and is always raising her hand to help dogs and owners in need.

Ash at My Sidekick Dog Training is truly amazing! Ash only uses positive reinforcement and is certified through the CCPDT which is so important to me and my pups! Ash has worked closely with all of my animals and has helped tremendously with their reactivity and fear! We have been working with Ash with two dogs (one a mini schnauzer and the other a collie mix, both with different challenges.) we have seen a ton of improvement so far, and I can tell that both dogs are happier and more enriched…. And most importantly, are much better “behaved.” I was skeptical about more reward-based training at first, but it’s undeniable that it’s working. :) Ash helps you understand the “why” behind everything you learn and gives you the tools you need to address your pet’s unique “issues.” We love working with Ash and are so so so thrilled with the progress we have made so far!! 😊
