About My Shadow Dog Training
13+ years teaching group classes - Canine Manners, Canine Good Citizen, AKC STAR for puppies. Therapy Dogs, Service Dogs, Diabetic Alert, Public Access training. Private one-on-one lessons - obedience, specialized training, problem behaviors Member of Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). Focus on training the dog AND the owner - relationship is key - board and train is not what I do. Force-free and positive methods building partnership; no e-collars or aversive training! Specialized training for problem dog behaviors such as reactivity, anxiety, etc. 13+ years experience training emotional support (ESA) and service dogs. Therapy dog training: certified as a Tester/Observer for Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

Salt of the earth lady that is not only a “dog whisperer” but knows humans well :-) to make the relationship work! She’s active in the community with various canine activities… whether informally training dogs (and people) to encouraging those so inclined to form a handler-dog team to do service (anxiety) work with local schools, nursing homes, and colleges. But at MSDH, it’s all about positive reinforcement and helping canine and family understand each other, set expectations, and reach goals!
We took our, at the time year old Labrador Retriever to My Shadow Dog Training for basic manners. Jenny was awesome and had a lot of great tips for training Caro. Jenny is an awesome trainer!!!

Our year old Boxer puppy recently graduated from the Manners class and it has been an amazing transformation in her ! Jenny teaches clear, concise and useful information for dog owners with great results. Highly recommend .
