FirstBarkCalled about dog training. The woman was very rude and basically said the Doberman breed is naturally aggressive and dangerous and not easily trained then hung up on me. Would not take dog here if they paid me!

How much for basic obedience training for a dog we are adopting from a shelter? She is very sweet, maybe 2-3 yrs old. Part Dogue de Bordeaux and Pit Bull. Unknown what her background is.
I started the training with a 2.5 year old German Shepherd and it's working out very well and worth it for us as he is beginning to turn the corner as to behavior is improving 😊

The pricing varies and they have different options as well. I think we were in the 2500 range for basic obedience with boarding. If I had to do it all over again I would. Totally worth the price.

We adopted an approximately 5year old dog from a rescue that said he was great with kids, people and other dogs. However they lied and will not take him back. He has aggression issues and bites. Would Lee and staff be good at evaluating him?

Called for some info and the lady that answered was very helpful.
Don't waste your time. I took my dog for the initial lesson, and we set up weekly lessons. Today I traveled the 30 minutes to get there and the place is open, but no one is there. I wait 25 minutes for the trainer to show and I say give me an exact time to be there and I'll be there. She says if you want promptness, you should find a different trainer. I already have!!!

I am able to ask questions before class that pertain to my family and the trainer has worked them into class so others can work it into their own scenario. Believe me when I say I had and still have many questions and anxiety about life and pet introductions and each time the trainer has answered my questions professionally and in a non judgemental manner. We have successfully introduced a very scared old gal to her own set of support pets over the years she lived with us and now slowly working in a new puppy member to the family.
