My dog Murphy hunt’s waterfowl and pheasant and is a joy to hunt over. Long story short my guide in SD asked if he could use him every season all season. I have a dog Marcus is training. I am quite happy with the progress my dog has made so far. Marcus is a “dog guy”. He really cares about the dogs he trains and wants them all to perform at their highest potential. Every dog is different. He recognizes strengths and weaknesses and trains the dog accordingly. I have the privilege to have my dog Deets trained with Marcus at Mudd Creek. I have watched Marcus train a kennel full of dogs. Some competitors in the field trial and hunt test world, some gun dogs and some just starting out. Marcus trains them all with care, a world of knowledge, understanding and compassion. He trains the dogs at their level where ever they are. His kennels are always clean and the dogs are taken care of better than most people. The thing that most impresses me about Marcus is he is always available to teach the handler as well. From training with him and Deets at his place to phone calls when at home he is there to make both dog and handler better. I started out just wanting to get my new dog trained and ended up having Marcus and Vicki as some of my most dear friends.
