At Mr. Dog Training I want you and your dog(s) to reach their full potential. One of the most effective ways of doing this is learning how to properly communicate with your canine companion and learning to listen to them. When pets and people aren’t speaking the same language, it can be frustrating. Just like with any good relationship, communication is key! I believe training should be fun, for both you and your dog, and that training with your dog should help create a strong, lasting relationship built on respect and trust. I take pride in providing a safe, fun, and compassionate environment to learn in.

I am bringing home a creme golden retriever on Sept 3. He will be 9 weeks. When shud i start his obedience training at your facility. Is it s once s week class? I dont work so reinforcement can be done between classes. thank you Jane B.

Thank you for contacting me and congrats on the new puppy! I offer a free drop in Puppy Preschool every Saturday morning from 10-10:30am for pups age 8-16 weeks. Puppies must have had their first round of distemper/parvo vaccine and been in your home at least 10 days prior to coming to class. As soon as your puppy meets these requirements then you are welcome to come! When you come to Puppy Preschool you'll want to bring your puppy wearing a leash and a portion of high value food (cheese, boiled chicken, hot dogs, boiled egg, or sliced turkey) to use as rewards.

I never give google reviews, so you know I truly love this place! The best of the best, Sara (Owner of Mr. Dog Training) is incredibly knowledgable, supportive, and effective in training humans to have a better relationship with their dogs while teaching behavior reinforcement techniques that last. Love!!
Sara is a gifted teacher for both people and dogs. She makes the classes fun. She also helps you work through day to day issues you come up against which is very helpful. I have had 3 dogs and all of them have gone thru Sara’s training.
Just finished Intermediate Obedience and loved it. It's a great extension to improve and build on the skills learned in Basic Obedience. Sara is a great teacher!
