Hi Ellie, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly value feedback like this, as it helps us continue to evaluate and improve both our programs and our communication with clients. We’re sorry to hear that you feel your expectations were not met, particularly regarding crate training and follow-up scheduling. Our board and train programs are designed to build dogs progressively - starting with foundational skills and confidence before introducing more challenging components like crate work, especially in cases involving anxiety. Crate training was implemented during weeks two and three of your dog’s program, once that foundation was established. While your dog showed strong progress with crate work in our structured environment, we do understand that transitioning those skills into the home can sometimes be challenging. This is especially true with anxiety-based behaviors, where consistency, timing, and environment play a significant role. It’s not uncommon for dogs to need additional guidance during this transition period, and we are always here to help support that process. In regard to follow-up, your private lessons included in the program were completed with your trainer, and communication was maintained throughout that time. Additionally, group classes are included as part of your program and remain available to you, as they are an important part of reinforcing skills in a real-world setting. We also want to acknowledge your positive comments about our team—we appreciate that recognition and will be sure to share it with your trainer.
