Our family has a 1.5 year old lab from Raquel’s 2024 litter. Choosing to work with Raquel as both a breeder and trainer has proved to be a rewarding decision. Our dog, Finn is goofy, lovable, and of course being a lab, high energy! Raquel has been in invaluable resource helping guide us in providing outlets for his energy through play and activities he finds fulfilling mentally and physically. This was a game changer for us and Finn! Recently we competed one of Raquel’s group recall classes. This experience allowed Finn to improve his ability to listen in the presence of other dogs, people and environmental distractions. Off leash or on long leads, we now feel confident and trust his ability to return when called. We look forward to taking some other classes with her in the future.

As first time dog owners, we were clueless as to how to address our puppies reactivity and behaviors. Thankfully we found Raquel! With her help, we were able to learn ways to curb the negative behaviors, improve the relationship with our dog, and overall restore more calm in our house. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely love Raquel! I have a dog with some behavioral quirks, and I feel very comfortable having her boarded at Raquel’s. It’s also a huge advantage that she offers pickup & drop off to NYC as I don’t have a car. I love that my dog gets to have her own mini vacation outside the city when I’m out of town, and that she’s with a responsible person.
