Monster Dog Training

Sarah and Molly are incredible dog trainers. I have been benefiting from their fun group dog classes and private training sessions. They are patient, kind, talented, and so understanding. Sarah has gone above and beyond to help me with my dog and I’m amazed by her skills in dog behavior and training. The frequent communication, updates, and photos/videos I received about my dog during a board and train and during day training outings were amazing. I felt so comfortable with my dog in Sarah’s care and I trust her 100%. They are just the best. I would absolutely recommend them.

Sarah is fantastic at what she does! We reached out to Monster Dog for help when we were at our breaking point with our stubborn, damaged rescue dog, Maggie. There’s a fine line between showing a previously abused and very scared dog that you love them, and also disciplining them when needed. Sarah spent 1.5 hours at our house observing Maggie (and her furry siblings) and providing us with extremely effective suggestions on what we can do to correct the behaviors that we are not interested in. Dog training is actually human training, and we absolutely needed the training that Sarah provided. After about 2 weeks of consistency with Maggie, she has overcome most of her fears and behaviors that we had focused on with Sarah’s help. Literally one home session with Sarah changed our entire situation! Not only is Maggie much more pleasant to spend time with, but you can see that she is also so much happier! Although we did not schedule a 2nd home visit, because we didn’t think we needed it, we will definitely attend some of the group classes to keep Maggie on-track for a long, social, happy life! My pitbull, June, was killing chickens on my farm on a daily basis. I couldn’t let her out at any time when the chickens were awake. After just two sessions with Monster my little monster stopped! Monster dog training has really helped me understand my dog and read her cues. They taught me how to work with her on my own between lessons. Sarah answers questions I have between lessons. Always helpful. I am very impressed with Monster and recommend this service to anyone needing help with their dog’s behavior.

Sarah and Molly are fantastic. We've done both private lessons and group classes at Monster and working with them has been an absolute game changer for rehabbing my reactive dog. Molly's classes are packed with information, and loads of fun. She's great at providing everyone with practical exercises to work on (and an understanding of the "why" behind them) while also noticing and addressing the unique struggles individual students are having. In private lessons, Sarah is extremely skilled at helping get to the root issues quickly and effectively. She's fun, understanding, smart, and packs and enormous amount of learning into a single lesson.
