MondioPup, Inc. - Balanced Dog Training

Adrienne works wonders. She met our puppy very young and helped to get him properly crate trained. When he reached a year, we sent him for additional "grown-up" training, and he came back so well-mannered and calm! And the best part is the time that Adrienne takes to train us, as the owners - which is really the most important part! We're so excited to have such a well-behaved dog, and our lives have become so much easier and more fulfilled. We look forward to getting our guy more training with Adrienne in the future.

About 5 years ago we had a 1 Year old boy and a 3 Year old girl and one German Shepard. We recently lost an awesome dog, Ida. So we decided to find another dog, Rio (German/Shilo Shepard). Well that was crazy, so Heather decided to look for a dog trainer. Heather found Adrian and it changed our lives and or "Dog Lives" forever. Adrian took our dog Rio for four week (which was difficult, as we loved the dog, and 4 weeks!!!!!!) and created the most wonderful dog experience anyone could wish for. Rio is a large dog with lots of energy. We, as a family, wanted a big dog, that was easily controlled. Well, That is exactly what Adrian did. She helped create and shape the most wonderful dog ever. That being said, The MOST Import part of Rio's Training was how Adrian helped my family understand how to continue Rio's training and how important it is to stay consistent with the training Adrian instilled in Rio. Moving Forward 5 years, Rio is on top. Very confident. On the leash, off the leash, and with the e-coller. Maple, a Lab Retriever, is our current dog is progress, Heather is creating an exception dog with Adrian's guidance..We will be hunting her by the end of the year.

Put simply, Adrienne changed our lives. We reached out to Adrienne to help us with our 7 month lab puppy. We weren't getting any sleep and our house was being ripped apart. After trying to train her ourselves and not getting results, we knew something had to change. When we contacted Adrienne she was very detailed about her training program and what it entails. We had a long conversation about Cerbie and the behaviors we were seeing. She asked clarifying questions to get specific information from us. She was also very clear that the work had to be continued after Cerbie came home. Cerbie came home a few weeks ago and she is a different dog. She listens, she is able to settle, and most importantly she is happy. What sets Adrienne apart from other trainers is that she follows up with you on a continuous basis. During Cerbie's month long stay with Adrienne we went for a lesson. After Cerbie came home we went for another lesson and a week after that Adrienne came to our house. Not only is Adrienne teaching the dog, but more importantly she gave us the knowledge and tools to continue the work. Adrienne loves dogs and her passion is clear. We whole heartedly trust her with Cerbie and now consider Adrienne a friend.

Words cannot do justice to how much we value and trust Adrienne. We sent our 10 month old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd to Adrienne to do the 4 week program and an additional week of boarding at the beginning. Our Luna was a high energy pup with terrible impulse control that was easily outsmarting our at home training methods. While I was nervous at first to send Luna away, I could immediately sense Adrienne's knowledge on our introductory call and was put at ease throughout the process by her clear explanations of the course and the progress videos we received. Now we have a confident dog that listens attentively and respects our household. We have all gained so much freedom thanks to the trust that is now built on both sides and it has made life more enjoyable. I could tell in the progress updates and on our visit to MondioPup that Luna was happy and thoroughly enjoying her training experience. We felt well equipped when it was time to take her home as Adrienne is equally as great at training us owners to set the dogs up for success when back home, not to mention that we know we can turn to her at any point for additional help! Our experience was life changing for both us and Luna and we have agreed to never own a dog again without her guidance. We cannot say enough good things!

I did a ton of research for a board and train program near NYC, called many places, and MondioPup won. My dog stayed with Adrienne for 12 days and has come back a new dog. Before his stay, he listened off leash when he wanted to and “ruled the house”. After his stay, he is so attentive and perfectly responsive when off leash. His in-apartment behavior and respect has massively improved as well. We will 100% use MondioPup again the next time we go out of town.
