At MLK9 Dog Training, we start by teaching parents how to communicate with their pets using clear commands and rewarding good behavior. Our training methods are based on the science of learning theory and modern, humane dog training techniques. We use positive reinforcement as our primary method of increasing your dog's motivation to learn and to behave in a way that you like better than before. We also use "reward-based punishment," which means that if your dog does something wrong that you don't want him to do, you don't punish him , instead, you simply remove the reward for a short period until he learns not to do it anymore. They are truly amazing at their jobs and cared so well for our little Frankie. They kept in constant contact with me, and always updated me. I took my 10 month old Aussie doodle here. She was out of control always jumping on people very disobedient. I gave up walking her because it was just a hot mess. I brought her here with a high expectations, and they met every expectation of mine. She is very obedient. I’m not embarrassed when people come over anymore and walking she and my other dog is fun now. I really appreciate the time that they took with my Jazzy. The place is very clean, very well-kept and run by professionals. I highly recommend
