MLK9 Dog Training

We can’t say enough great things about Andy and Carrie at MLK9 Dog Training! They worked with our Stella girl through the 4-week training program, and the experience was incredible from start to finish. Andy sent us constant updates and pictures, which gave us such peace of mind — we never had to worry because we knew she was in the best hands. Stella came home a completely transformed dog: well-behaved, confident, and full of new skills. It’s clear that Andy and Carrie are true dog people — they love every dog like their own, and it shows in everything they do. We highly recommend MLK9 to anyone looking to invest in a better future for their dog. We’ll absolutely be boarding Stella there in the future — she loved her time with them and we know she’ll be just as well cared for during any stay!

We sent our two Australian Shepherds to Andy because of behaviors like, jumping, excessive barking, generally being beyond our control, and occasional aggression between the two of them. These behaviors strongly impacted our daily lives. We have had the most wonderful experience working with Andy and MLK9. From our very first conversation, he was knowledgeable, professional, understanding and caring. His facility is very nice, and we felt so comfortable sending our dogs to him. Throughout their time with him, he was an excellent communicator, providing detailed updates on their training and progress. Between the weekly updates and the “go home lesson”, we feel more than equipped to continue to support what they learned from Andy. We are so impressed with the results! The changes he made to their behavior will allow us to be able to enjoy them and do the things with them that, before MLK9, we would not have thought possible. We cannot say enough good things! We sent our German shepherd puppy to mlk9 for their two week board and train puppy program. We wanted to ensure we put a solid foundation on him to set us up for success moving forward. When we sent him, he was a typical high drive working puppy who had no boundaries and my kids hated him. Andy was amazing and kept in touch the entire time. He explained everything and demonstrated it all so we could understand. I was amazed at the transformation he had. Now we have the foundation to move forward with sport work and set him up for success. We will be sending our other dog to Andy here soon! Definitely recommend andy and MLK9 for all your dog training needs.

I can’t say enough good things about Mike Lilley K9! It was clear that they genuinely care about dogs and are passionate about what they do. My dog Winston, who used to be distracted and reactive on walks, is now calm, confident, and much more obedient — all thanks to Andy’s patience, knowledge, and effective techniques. He also took the time to teach me how to effectively implement Winston’s new skills at home.
