MJ's Dog Training LLC

MJ from MJ's Dog Training, saved our dogs life and trained my husband and I to be responsible dog owners. When we adopted Caleb, he was a puppy and pretty out of control. We had him for about 7 months before we contacted some trainers. I was ready to drive Caleb to CA for a 3 month board and train and then I called MJ. We started with regular training sessions and quickly learned that Caleb was going to need some serious help. He snapped at MJ once and was very reactive. Caleb started to resource guard his food and chew bones and I was about ready to give up on him. I couldn't live in fear of my own dog. Things were bad, Caleb was a very nervous, reactive dog. MJ asked if we would be willing to talk about our options. He came to our house and we talked for a couple of hours. We came up with a plan. MJ gave us training on how to use an ecollar correctly, how to have boundaries for Caleb, how to have good recall, good walks and many other tools on how to be good pet owners. I am happy to say, Caleb is still with us and he and MJ get along VERY well. Caleb is still a nervous dog but we now have the correct tools and knowledge to make sure that he isn't put into a situation where he would have to be defensive or reactive. We know how to advocate for him. With the help of MJ and the proper training for us, Caleb's life was saved. My husband and I would not have been able to get through this past year with our dog, without MJ's help.
