Lauren & Wesley started their dog training path in the United States Air Force, where they were both Military Working Dog Trainers. After serving for 10 years they left the Air Force & took the skills they learned to the private security industry where they work with Explosive Detection K9’s to protect the public at Dallas Stars games, Dallas Mavericks games & concerts at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. In recent years, they began to share their love for dog training by using it to help the wonderful citizens of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Do you offer payment plans for the boarding and train program?
Yes. We require 50% payment at time of booking and the remaining balance to be paid when you pick up your pet.

Will I be able to visit my dog during the boarding and train program?
We do not recommend this as it is confusing to the dog. It is essential that we establish a bond with your dog in order to establish a happy learning environment. Visits from the owner can impede and delay this process.

Where will my dog be staying during the board and train program?
While your dog is with us, we will mimic their home lifestyle as close as possible and they will be a part of our family. Down time in a kennel is part of the training process. Once your dog is comfortable with our process, they will be exposed to other dogs. There will be social time and play.

What if my dog forgets all his training and I wasted my money?
Your dog WILL forget if you don't practice. If you do not do maintenance work, your dog's focus will get rusty. Luckily, we provide you with all the exercises you will need to keep your relationship with your dog.

How will I learn to maintain the progress you've made with my dog?
When your dog is trained, our job is only halfway done. We then will train you so you can continue the work and reap the benefits of a great dog-owner partnership.

Yes, absolutely! The gift of communication you are giving them will only enhance your relationship and solidify your bond through clarity. We will educate you on how a dog thinks and teach you to accelerate the bond with your dog.

Killed my dog through gross negligence. The kennel we provided had a red stamp warning sticker, as most kennels do, stating do not leave collar on. According to these people, they left for several hours and came back and my dog had passed from an "unknown" cause. Well, according to the necropsy report the "Unknown" cause was strangulation. Long story short they did not remove my dog's collar and left her locked in the kennel for a long enough time unattended that she got herself caught and passed. By the time I got the call and took less than 30mins to arrive, rigor mortis was beginning to set in.
We are still mourning this loss to our family because our baby was her. A gift that came to us when we couldn't have our own. Every year for the month of July, it is just a heartbreaking reminder of what these people did to our family. There is a deep trust that has been broken, not just for these people but for many in this industry now.
They provided a refund and paid for the necropsy.

We dropped off our GSD for the first time at a boarding place due to family not being able to watch her. I was so nervous, but Wes & Lauren were great with our Luna Girl!
Look at that happy girl!

Wes and Lauren were entrusted with my baby Luna (German Shepherd) and all my worries were put at ease with the lush and sufficient climate controlled kennels and basically her own studio apartment 😅 10/10 would recommend and will use them again when the family needs a vacation without any worries of my Luna being mistreated. Lastly, support your local small veteran Owen’s businesses! 🇺🇸

Lauren and Wes did amazing. We have two American bullies one on the tad crazy side (doesn’t like her feet touched) and one that is very calm the old man of the group. They were able to make it comfortable for both of them they came back looking amazing and smelled even better! 100% will be going back!
