Misfits Dog Training

We had a fantastic experience working with John from Misfits Dog Training. Over the course of nine in-home lessons this spring, he helped us address a serious issue with our new shelter rescue who was resource guarding and snapping at our other dogs—especially around food. We were honestly at the point of wondering if we could keep her safely in the home. We have been working with Craig to train our 8 month old pup, whom is very much in his teenage stage of life, for the past month. We plan to take our pup everywhere and really desire a well behaved/trained dog. Happy to report great progress has been made on all of our goals. We love how Craig makes himself available to answer questions that have come up during our training. It has made a big difference getting answers and tips without having to wait until our next lesson. We recently went out of town and also used Craig for boarding. We got a shepherd mix puppy Bach in March and immediately realized we needed some formal training for her. We googled best dog trainers in the area and Misfits came up! From day one, John and Zoe have been very attentive to our family’s needs and our little pup Ruby! She just got back from a three week boarding train and the amount of progress is absolutely amazing! At first, we weren’t sure if the cost was worth it but now we are realizing it absolutely was!
