Miracle K9 Training

My three year-old Boston Terrier decided to get aggressive against people who came into his space. After a brief conversation with David on the phone, he assured me that things would work out. After only two sessions under the gentle and steady leadership of Michelle at Miracle K9, I have a new and different dog. I believe the genius is found in the fact that Michelle (and I presume the other others) know how dogs “think”. I couldn’t be happier with the results. It really has been “a miracle”!

David and his team are incredible! We brought in Tank for reactivity towards other dogs and some people. David took so much time to answer all of my questions before we chose to board. He made me feel so comfortable leaving Tank in their capable hands. After we dropped Tank off, we got weekly phone calls, texts in between, and social media videos so we knew everything that was going on at all times. When he lost a couple pounds, they called us right away to find out our preference on adjusting his diet. Once we got him back, David made sure we were comfortable in all of the techniques that were used and thoroughly educated on what we needed to do to ensure continued success. Tank is so much more improved! It is so nice being able to take him to stores and outings with less anxiety about how he will react. He is more calm and confident and less fearful of new situations. I am so grateful to David and his team for helping our boy!

Bella Miracle, I am excited to share the testimony and journey of our Welsh Corgi Bella through the boarding program at Miracle K9 Training. Bella is precious to our family, and we have had her since she was 8-weeks. Bella started into an aggressive behavior at about 6-7 months to include biting the family when we would try normal dog functions like collaring, using a leash, grooming, nail trimming or come near her food in certain instances. We were at a loss and went through normal vet procedures to include medication to calm her down, but the issues persisted. The Corgi breed is something we have experience with and had never had this issue with any of our other Pembroke’s. We felt trapped, not being able to board her, take her to the vet safely without medication or fear of her interacting with others outside the family. I am from Cleveland, and we were in the area for an anniversary party when my niece from Lakewood told us about an experience she had with her own dog and had gone through training and lessons with M-K-9. After filling out an online application Dave promptly called us, and we went through the process of explaining our concerns and Dave shared the available programs with us and really took the time to understand her concerns and was so open to making us feel better. We made the decision to enroll Bella into the 4-week boarding program. We were thrilled to learn Bridget would be her trainer/primary handler. The updates on her progress and our overall feeling of knowing we found the right place was evident from the time we arrived. There were on-line updates of Bella’s progress through the program that were informative to include weekly phone calls to understand her status and how she was responding to the training. After four weeks and at the point of our pickup, Bella’s change was incredible. It was clear Bella had progressed through the program to understand her own fears and her demeanor and confidence was truly a miracle. Bridget provided the post sessions that gave us knowledge to further work with Bella and implement learned techniques needed to both reinforce and further her development. Bella’s care is more than manageable and our ability to provide for her and have her return love to us, is something we did not have before this program. I would recommend Miracle K9 to anyone. The staff, the facility and the program truly performed a miracle in our eyes. This program saved Bella’s life. Sincerely- Bella’s Family!

We cannot say enough good things about this boarding and training program. When we brought our dachshund, Hank, in, we were feeling overwhelmed and honestly unsure if things would ever improve. He struggled with reactivity and biting, and it was heartbreaking not knowing how to help him. The progress Hank has made is truly remarkable. He now walks calmly on a leash and is so much more at ease around people. Watching him go from reactive to confident has been incredibly rewarding, and it’s something we honestly didn’t think was possible before this program. The trainers were patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about Hank’s progress. Their communication and support throughout the process made us feel confident and hopeful every step of the way. We got weekly check-in phone calls as well as pictures and videos whenever we asked! We are beyond grateful for what they’ve done for our dog and our family. If you’re dealing with a reactive dog, we highly recommend this program — it truly changed our lives.
