Miracle K9 Training

We took our high anxiety GSD to Miracle K9 in 2020 for a month long board and train. I couldn’t say enough times how I truly believe they saved Sarge’s life with their training. Not only was that such an amazing thing for us, we’re expecting our first baby in May and with all the anxiety that comes with being first time parents, we reached out to Miracle with issues we had been noticing in Sarge. Even almost 5 years later and they still helped us and followed up on his training with us to make sure we are ready for this next adventure with Sarge by our sides! We are forever thankful for the Miracle K9 crew and the true dedication to the dogs they have worked with. Their follow up 5 years later is true testament to the work they do.

We had the best experience with Michelle for our 1 on 1 sessions! Dolly was rescued and we knew basically nothing about her when we adopted her, but had found out she wasn’t too fond of other dogs in the worst way possible. Michelle helped us help Dolly by showing her how to positively socialize with other dogs while keeping boundaries in place. We went in thinking we were never going to be able to take Dolly out in public places and left with the confidence to take her out and be aware of how to handle and keep her safe. On top of the biggest issue being handled, we also now have the most polite lady when it comes to walks and recalls off leash! We cannot say enough positive things about Michelle and Miracle K9!

As an anxious pet parent deciding to sign up our rescue dog (Dax) for Miracle K9’s board and train program was the best decision I have ever made. Bridget (our primary trainer) and the rest of the Miracle k9 team were wonderful and have changed our lives for the better. Things I use to worry about everyday are no longer a concern. Our girl, Dax, was an overall well behaved dog, but she had behaviors we needed to improve upon. Dax needed help especially during walks. She would pull, chase squirrels, lunge, and had very selective hearing. She was inconsistent no matter how much positive reinforcement training my husband and I had tried to implement. We needed help, despite a valiant effort to train our girl by ourselves. Some of Dax’s behaviors were likely worsened by my own anxiousness/ or lack of knowledge. My only regret is not signing Dax up sooner. Dax began her board and train program at Miracle k9 before our big move from Cleveland to Chicago, IL. Moving to a bigger city with way more dogs, distractions, people, and triggers, I can say my worries multiplied. We wanted to be able to enjoy life with our dog without worrying what she might do. We also wanted to give the most to our dog and not let her behaviors get in the way of her living life to the fullest. I was so worried about leaving our Daxie girl for 4 weeks. Looking back on it now, it’s crazy to think how worried I was. Dax loved her time at Miracle K9 and all her trainers. Dax LOVED going back to Miracle k9 for her post board and train, training sessions. We now live in a very busy apartment in Chicago and can visit the park and take walks around the city and enjoy them with our Daxie girl. I am confident we can go anywhere and I can protect Dax and we can confidently protect her from things in the environment. The peace of mind we received from the board and train program is absolutely life changing. Thank you a 1,000x Miracle K9!
