Miracle K9 Training

Working with David at Miracle K9 has been the best thing for both myself and my 8-month-old dachshund, Booker. We got Booker as a puppy and his basic training came really easy but around 5-6 months he started struggled significantly with reactivity, particularly towards other dogs and moving objects like the vacuum, mop and the lawnmower. Despite attending 2 puppy group class and working with another trainer, we saw minimal improvement. Living in Arizona, I was initially skeptical about virtual training, but after following Miracle K9's work, I decided to give it a try. The results have been remarkable to say the least. Within only a few weeks, Booker's reactivity has almost completely subsided. Now, I am confident that we can bring him with us wherever we decide to go. I use to stress during walks and felt helpless when encountering other dogs and now I literally seek out dogs to aid in his training. I feel significantly more confident in my ability to help and train my Booker, and I can see the positive impact this has had on his confidence and happiness. We sent our mini goldendoodle to board and train with Miracle K9 and David was his trainer. Prior to training, he had no impulse control, pulled the leash constantly, was chasing our cat incessantly, stealing food off the table and countertops, and running to the neighbor’s to eat their cat’s food. He was a new dog after his board and train! He still has his fun puppy energy and personality, but he follows directions SO well now. We are so thankful to David and everyone else at Miracle K9 who helped him become a dog that’s a pleasure to have around.

Miracle K9 has truly been a game changer for our dog Buckley and our entire household. At five years old, Buckley struggled with severe anxiety—thunderstorms, fireworks, and even everyday noises would send him into a spiral. Over time, his anxiety led to resource guarding and, ultimately, a bite incident. We tried everything—positive reinforcement training, medication, and every calming product available—but nothing provided lasting relief. Our home was constantly on edge, and we desperately needed a solution. Enter Miracle K9. We enrolled Buckley in their 4-week board and train program, hoping to reduce his anxiety, increase his focus, and learn how to better support him. Bridget, his trainer, was phenomenal—Buckley still lights up when he sees her during our follow-up sessions! Most importantly, he has learned how to stay focused and in command, and we now have the tools to provide the structure he needs. The e-collar has been a game changer for our strong-willed hound, and walking him is a breeze. Just this morning, a heavy thunderstorm rolled through—his first since training. While he was still aware of the noise, handling him was 1000x easier. Instead of hours of frantic howling and stress for everyone, we knew exactly what to do to help him feel safe, and we all got through the storm with ease. The peace of mind this training has given us is priceless. We are beyond grateful to Miracle K9 for transforming Buckley’s quality of life—and ours. Our only regret is not going to them sooner! Without a doubt, any future dogs we have will be trained with them from the start.

The Miracle K9 team and our trainer, Bridget, are exactly that... Miracle workers! When your dog is showing aggression and behavioral issues, your future can start to look a little blurry. Things I used to enjoy doing like having people over, going for drives & walks in the park, and exploring coffee shops & patio bars became nearly impossible because I had an unpredictable dog I felt the need to stay home alone with. Then after an incident with my dog, someone mentioned behavioral euthanasia and my head went spinning. This was not an option for me and I knew I had to find a solution for me and my dog to live life to its fullest. At my lowest, David talked matter-of-factly to me about training options and for once I saw there may be hope. Within a few weeks, Scout was signed up & dropped off for his 4 week board and train and it is the best decision I've ever made. He's now been home for a full month and things look a lot different in our lives, for the better! Even when I think I'm seeing what feels like a setback, Bridget reassures me that we know Scout's triggers and how to manage them. I don't feel alone anymore because I have confidence in myself, my dog, and our Miracle K9 team! Scout enjoys daycare there 1-2x a week to give me all the peace of mind I could ever want so I can focus on my corporate 8-5 job. I also enjoy David and Miracle K9's podcasts, instagram posts, and IG live sessions as a way to further my knowledge from these experts. The structure we have now as a dog & owner is a lot healthier and we're both happier. If you're ever questioning whether balanced training is right for you & your dog, I can honestly say I've seen it work and its benefit first hand.
