Miracle K9 Training

I brought my two-year old party boy pittie to Miracle K9 to work on his overall mindset on leash, proof his on and off leash obedience and to boost his confidence and build up his social skills with other dogs. He worked with Bridget and the Miracle K9 team, who kept me updated with calls, texts and social media updates throughout. He was out and about in public at parks being exposed to dogs, humans, strollers, bikes - all the things. We really struggled on leash before drop-off but he has a rock solid foundation now and we continue to proof and practice at home. He was also given the opportunity to safely socialize with all kinds of different dogs, which was what really drew me to MK9's program in the first place. I now feel more confident and comfortable introducing him to new dogs at home and continuing to expand his doggie social circle. We're from Upstate NY so we traveled over eight hours to get there. Dropping him off was so tough, but it was 100% worth it. If you're on the fence, do it! Lars has been home for over a month now and he is crushing it. He has met new dogs, maintained his chill with house guests and continues to show me better decision making in all settings. And still... if he hears Bridget's voice in an instagram video he is up, wagging and looking for his buddy. We are forever thankful for the time Bridget and the Miracle K9 team put into teaching this dude new skills and setting us both up for success at home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I sent my Pomsky, Kobe, to Miracle K-9 Training when he was around 6–7 months old for their 4-week board and train program. As an out-of-state client, the entire process — from scheduling drop-off and pick-up to communication during training — was seamless, even while I was traveling in Japan. Bridget was Kobe’s trainer and did an incredible job. She helped correct his coprophagia (eating his own poop), taught him to understand social cues from other dogs, and respect their boundaries. When he came home, he was noticeably more relaxed, confident, and able to just be a dog — without all the anxiety. The team was very responsive and informative, especially when it came to answering questions about e-collar training. While the follow-up communication after the program could’ve been stronger, Bridget offered to stay in touch by text or phone anytime, which I truly appreciated. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Miracle K-9 and Bridget made a real difference for Kobe — and for my peace of mind. Highly recommend.

I learned about David and his dog training business, miraclek9training from watching his videos posted on Facebook. My dog was extremely reactive and I have been working with him for months. While making some progress, I could not get him to where he needed to be in order to be able to enjoy our walks. I live in Canada, but I reached out to David and he was willing to do a virtual lesson with me and I could not be more delighted with the results! David’s method worked perfectly for us. Not only was David able to make suggestions that were very manageable and easy to implement, he supported us every step of the way. David was patient, knowledgeable, and extremely supportive. He always responds to questions in a very timely manner. He assured me that I could reach out to him to ask a question or ask for guidance. It was also very clear to me that he cared about our success. That meant a lot! I will not hesitate to utilize David’s expertise in the future should the need arise. I am so happy with our results and so appreciative of David’s help!

Five stars isn’t enough. We had been told by vets that our boy had severe anxiety. It was pretty much chalked up to keeping him on meds his entire life. His last vet visit went so bad that we were told they couldn’t do much for him anymore. My partner had been keeping up with Miracle K9 for quite awhile, so we both sat down one night and discussed the possibility of sending him. Every dog owner knows how hard it is to trust somebody with your dog for an entire month. Not only that, but how hard it is to be without your dog for an entire month. We read the reviews and couldn’t find a single bad review. We thought “what if this doesn’t work?”. But our son’s quality of life was top priority and we made the tough decision to send him to MiracleK9. Best. Decision. Ever. To say our lives have completely changed is an understatement. We knew once we picked Riggs up, OUR training would begin. Everything we never thought was possible became possible. Playing with other dogs was something we never thought he would get to do anymore. To see him socialized and free has been anything short of a miracle. He loves playtime now. Walking Riggs in a park around a lot of other people/dogs/bikes, etc… our WORST NIGHTMARE. Now it’s a beautiful dream turned to reality! Being able to take him with us places and not dreading it is exhilarating. Most of all, seeing our boy get to be a happy playful UNMEDICATED dog has been absolutely life changing. And although it’s only been a few weeks since he has been home and we are all still learning, it’s been a beautiful journey thus far. David has been wonderful keeping up with our training sessions and answering our questions as we transition and learn how to continue to do what’s best for our boy. We will forever be grateful for everyone who works here. Even though he was in training, Riggs had a great time and he looks forward to going back for his sessions everytime! Now we have no worries boarding him when we go on a weekend trip because we know he will get the best care and his training will always be kept up with!! Most importantly, he will have the BEST time with all the friends he made there! Look out daycare workers, Riggs incoming!!! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!!
