Miracle K9 Training

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Miracle K9. From the very beginning, Dave was patient with all of my questions, reassuring me every step of the way, working with me on payment timing, and making scheduling easy and flexible. Our trainer, Michelle, was absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, confident, kind, patient, and so much fun to work with. She took the time to truly get to know me and my dog, creating the perfect balance of structure and fun in every session. Through this program, I gained confidence as a dog owner, built a deeper bond of trust and healthy boundaries with my dog, and watched her grow into the confident girl I always knew she could be. She thrived—and people around us are noticing the difference. I’m so grateful for the support, guidance, and knowledge I received from Miracle K9. It was 100% worth the time, effort, and investment. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had followed MiracleK9training’s content on Instagram for years and the content they share helped me overcome some issues with my dogs. I live in CT and knew David comes here a few times a year. I saw that he would be here for a couple of weeks and the timing would work for me so I reached out because my dogs were extremely dog reactive and would lunge on leash walks which had knocked me down on walks quite a few times over the years and I dreaded walking them and did my best to avoid walking by dogs. David was so responsive in his correspondence and answered all my questions, encouraging me to reach out if I had any additional questions before the session. I brought my one dog to the session that was heavier and more difficult for me to hold and manage on leash. I booked 2 hours since my dog takes awhile to warm up to men however he did not need time to warm up to David. David watched me walk him first, provided feedback and explained how to implement the training tools I had in an appropriate and effective manner. He demonstrated and explained how to implement the training so I could then do it. It didn’t take long for my dog to catch on to the expectations and I was so grateful to see my usually reactive dog not react to other dogs he was walking by. David offered to also work on some basics to prepare for off leash time. My 9 year old dog was getting tired so we ended a little early. David offered to work with both my dogs on leash on another date without charging me extra. I had been walking them separately for about a week before our next session. I was so anxious about walking them together by dogs but was prepared with the guidance and feedback David provided. He walked them first and explained what he was doing and watched me walk them. To my surprise they did great and responded to the corrections even when we walked by many dogs. David spent way more time than I anticipated with us to make sure I felt comfortable walking them and they were responding as they should to corrections. David is very knowledgeable and really breaks down training directions in a way that is easy to understand and implement. He was very supportive and encouraged me to ask any questions throughout the process. He is clearly dedicated to helping people live a happier life with dogs and helping dogs to live a happier life with the implementation of boundaries. My dogs continue to walk great on leash and walk by dogs without the reactivity they had before since the training with David and I feel so much more confident doing so. The short time we trained with David has made such a positive impact on my life with my dogs and I only wish I had reached out sooner. I highly recommend MiracleK9training!

Michelle has helped Tank live a happier and more relaxed life. Before training, we didn’t know much about how to train a dog effectively. I always had to have my eyes on Tank. Walking was always a tug of war. He didn’t know many commands. Would often run away. Now, we can trust Tank. He’s able to just be a dog and roam around without worrying. We can go on walks without avoiding other dogs or having tension on his leash. He doesn’t become aggressive over his toys anymore. He now knows beneficial commands. I was nervous to ever let Tank board anywhere because of his high energy. He stayed with Miracle K9 for 3 nights and was perfectly healthy and happy! Life is so much better for us, but life is even better for Tank. We are so grateful for Michelle.
