I would like to train at least one of my dogs to be a support or therapy dog. I have three I consider trainable and sweet enough to do the job, but would need more training. What do you suggest?
I would suggest scheduling a meeting to meet the dogs and discuss your options. It can get complicated and there’s a lot to consider when training a therapy dog. I do have a client who would be a good reference. She trained her own dog as a therapy dog. Let me know if you would like to talk more about this! Thanks for reaching out!

There were 5 other puppies in class that had improved from the first session. John is great at giving tips and guidance for everyone to understand. I would highly recommend MCC to anyone with a dog. We have an 18 month Golden Retriever who would counter surf, protect items he wasn't supposed to have and took playing too far at times which led to him pulling on our clothes. We were referred to Andy and his Canine Consulting staff which led us to a 3 week obedience and Ecollar boot camp for Rex. After the 3 weeks we have noticed amazing obedience from Rex and a calmer temperament. He is simply a changed canine and for all the right reasons. The training that Rex received from Ross and the response Rex has had is truly remarkable. We could not be happier with the reults and we are so thrilled Rex can be our home companion.
