Susan, words cannot express how grateful I am to you and Kevin for your exceptional dedication, patience, and perseverance you've had with Keelo and the training process. She is so lucky to have ended up with owners with your level of commitment. Many reactive dogs like Keelo suffer a perpetual cycle of abandonment because of their severe behavior, and I am so grateful that she was spared from that kind of life. Keelo has been quite the journey for all of us, and her progress is a product of your belief in her and your unwillingness to give up on her. Dogs like Keelo can only be helped with a dedicated team in their corner and you have shown up every step of the way, going above and beyond what most people are able and willing to do. It has been my greatest honor to be on that team and help Keelo feel better about her life. Dogs like Keelo, while initially challenging, are often the most rewarding dogs to have because of how much empathy and compassion they can generate in their people. Keelo has certainly been a gift in my journey as a trainer and a person- thank you for trusting me and sharing her with me! Thank you also for being exceptionally kind and giving clients. It was fun to not only teach her obedience such as sit, spin, come, down, heel, loose leash walking, and pattern games in Private Lessons but also see her thrive with our Homeschool day-training program and group classes.
