Brandi goes above and beyond for her clients. She isn’t “just a dog trainer.” She has given me knowledge and resources that make me feel confident in not just training my current dog, but also lifelong skills I can apply to any dogs I may get in the future. I’ve worked with other trainers in the past and what sets Brandi apart is she doesn’t just take what’s in front of her at face value. She digs deep to see the root of the issue and works to correct and support not just the dog, but also the owner. She has provided me case studies, podcasts, and countless other resources to ensure mine and my dogs success. I love the communication she provides via text check ins, Facebook posts, and the scheduling app she uses. I never miss anything. The smaller class size during group classes make it feel like even those are private sessions. She makes sure that every client feels seen and heard and tweaks the skill to match where that specific dog is at. I feel very safe and supported bringing my dog to group classes with so much supervision and control. We also tried out dog sports where we saw a huge improvement in our dogs confidence over the weeks! That is something that was new to us and I haven’t seen a lot of here in Cedar City. It’s also so fun to see her booth at community events like the renaissance fair or the Enoch dog park trunk or treat! I cannot recommend her enough, and would recommend Mindful Canine to anyone who is looking for a dog training service in the Cedar City area. ❤️🫶

I scheduled a consultation for dog training and was extremely disappointed with the experience. Felt like a waste of time and gave more of a high-pressure sales vibe, with the expectation to make full upfront payments rather than paying as training progresses which came across as a red flag. Another major concern was hearing the crate described as a form of punishment for unwanted behavior. Basic dog training emphasizes that a crate should be a safe space, not something used negatively. That alone made me seriously question her “training approach”. I was also uncomfortable with the “dog boarding” program being operated from her home. Although I did not see the setup, the answers I got when asking about it made it sound unprofessional and not like a legitimate, safe, structured boarding environment. On top of seeming unqualified in dog training, the overall attitude came across as very condescending. Would not recommend.

We are so thankful that we found Brandi at Mindful Canine Dog Training! She was absolutely wonderful to work with and was always attentive, patient, and genuinely caring. It was clear from the beginning that she cared not only about Rocky and my success with training, but also about Rocky’s overall well-being and happiness. Brandi gave me the knowledge, confidence, and tools I needed to continue training Rocky on my own, which has made such a difference. She was always available when I had questions and was incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the process. Rocky has grown and improved in so many ways thanks to Brandi, and I am so grateful for everything she has taught both of us. I would highly recommend her to anyone with a dog! Everyone needs Brandi in their dogs life!
