It all started back in 2018! We took Nash to group classes! mind you he is 140 lb mastiff. Never in a million years did I think I could own and off leash “big dog” and he actually listen to me! Everyone at mv K9 academy is fantastic and after 7 years he’s still the absolute best pup all because of training and sticking with the work! Having a hound dog as anxious as mine, and one who is now fully off leash trained, the crew there does incredible work and I’m very grateful for the tough 6 weeks apart knowing that I can go to work for a day and come home to a calm dog that isn’t chewing something he shouldn’t or leaving messes in the house!

She helped match me with the perfect dog, trained him to meet my exact needs (hello road warrior!), and even arranged for a late-night pickup as I passed through to Michigan. The pup I brought home exceeded every expectation and not just mine. A few months later, my mom was so impressed after meeting my pup, she wanted one too. Once again, I called Whitney. I couldn’t make it to Ohio that time, so she personally brought the puppy to me so we could travel five states together down to Florida. That kind of commitment is rare. Since then, Whitney’s been my go-to anytime I need long-term boarding. Whether it’s a structure board and train for a week or several weeks, I know she’s going to follow my dog’s routine and training to the letter. When I say, “Load up, we’re going to see Whitney,” my dog gets excited—he knows he’s going to his second home. Choosing to work with a breeder and trainer from another state isn’t something I took lightly. It’s a decision that requires confidence, clarity, and above all - trust. I’ve been through the entire process, from start to finish, and I can say without hesitation that Milligan Valley delivered beyond expectations and continues to do so. Whitney and Dani are extremely profesional and helpful! You can tell that they really care about not only their dogs but all the dogs they train, their skill sets are unmatched! I personally asked Whitney and Dani for some tips and help with training my 8 year old poodle, they flooded me with helpful information and tactful tips. An old dog CAN learn new tricks! I have personally got to spend some time with a few of their corsos that they train and sell, the behavior and character of these dogs is phenomenal even at such a young age, no doubt because of great genetics as well as top notch training.
