Milligan Valley K9 Academy

We got our sweet girl, Gigi, from Milligan valley. Whitney didn’t just sell us a dog...she has been with our family from day 1, answering questions, offering her advice, texts and house calls. Our family is BUSY with 4 kids and lots of sports. I needed our dog to be able to be very social and keep up with a busy lifestyle. We decided to ‘board and train’ Gigi while we went on vacation this summer. Board and train was the BEST! We saw videos of her progress while we sat on the beach! Whitney worked with her hours and hours, day after day. We came home from vacation to the obedient dog I wished for! It has been 3 months since she stayed the week with Whitney and she continues to thrive. Whitney is kind, flexible and absolutely the best at what she does. Board and train is invaluable!

Whitney is truly awesome. There isn't a single thing that she has taught us that hasn't worked. I will be honest, I had concerns about the prong collar and the e-collar. I was so worried they would change my sweet puppy's personality. Not only did they not change her personality - they work so well. My puppy is actually fine with me putting the collar on and happy! I can now take my puppy out to play without having to be on a leash and she is fully under voice command. She can run and play with me and I know she is safe. This is our first bigger dog and what was becoming a very hectic house is now back to peaceful with a very well behaved dog. I take my dog to work with me every day and everyone is amazed at how well she is behaved for a 7 month old. I can't recommend Whitney enough. She will tell you how nervous I was about the collars but I trusted her because everything else she had told us worked so quickly. I am so glad I did. Whitney knows what she is doing and cares about dogs tremendously. Our dog loves to go see her!

We were the very fortunate family chosen to adopt Jack, the goldendoodle she re-homed this spring. I can't say enough about the amazing training he received while at his "board and train" with Whitney! He is such an incredibly well-mannered dog and received compliments about his good behavior every time we're out and about. So grateful to her for the time she took training both Jack and our family. Her training set us all up for success!! We just love him to pieces!

Whitney is amazing! My English Bulldog and I came to her for help. He chewed two very expensive furniture pieces, was awful in his crate and was very anxious. After ONE lesson he stopped bad behaviors! I couldn't be more thankful. Not only is he a better behaved dog, our relationship has improved. He trusts me and respects me. I would recommend her confidently to anyone needed help!!! Although 3 classes would help, I would highly recommend 6 to get the best possible experience. 12/10!!
