How many dogs do you have in your training program at once?
We have three trainers and each trainer is assigned three dogs each for the duration of the dogs stay.

What does my dog do when they're not training?
They rest in their crate between each session and get freetime/playtime with our kennel techs when they're not in active training sessions with our trainers.

Where does my dog sleep?
In our facility We have a nice calm and quiet climate controlled kennel room which provides the dogs a comfortable place to rest between training sessions and through the night. You can find video and pictures of this area throughout our social media platforms or you may request a video tour from us directly.

Does my dog have to wear the e-collar forever?
We encourage everyone to view the e-collar as a seatbelt. Every time you get in the car you put your seatbelt on. Why? Are you intending to get into an accident? No, but you wear it because there is always a possibility of one occurring. We would rather you have it on your dog and not need it than get into a situation where you need it and you don't have it. If you follow our training program closely you will get to a point in life where you find it’s routine to put it on everyday but you hardly ever have to correct your dog.

We were at our wits end with our Goldendoodle Buddy. I have been sleeping on the couch for the last 10 months because I could not trust him. He escaped from his kennel constantly so we had a gate built to keep him in our morning room . He escaped that in less than 1 minute. We had to keep our older dog upstairs because he would jump on her and grab her by the neck. He was also a champion at counter surfing, so we had to keep everything out of reach. Whitney and Danielle from Milligan Valley worked so hard to make sure that Buddy was a changed dog. Buddy is the dog we always dreamed of having. Milligan Valley was the last stop for Buddy... he was either going to change or he would have to be taken to a shelter. I believe that they truly care about the dogs and their families. We are truly grateful that they made it possible. Buddy is Valedictorian of Milligan Valley 2020

Very very knowledgeable and professional. Whitney really knows how a dog thinks and acts, both as a breed and their own unique personality. She was able to work with our Husky, Gunner, who is quite stubborn and high spirited and get him to voice control off leash. She was also very open and transparent with us during his time with her, answering any questions, progress reports, and plenty of pictures and videos our dog while he was there. It is crystal clear that she knows what she is doing, enjoys her work, and is absolutely capable of delivering in regards of training a dog, educating a owner and giving them tools to succeed. Highly highly recommend.

I’m so grateful to have found Milligan valley & Whitney! I was losing my mind with my crazy husky, now I have a calm yes CALM husky. Dog training isn’t about just learning to sit and lay down for a treat, it’s about getting their mind in the right place and with my dog it wasn’t always the prettiest getting her in that mind set. We had to work hard & put in the time to get her to where she is now and even tho our training with Whitney is over it doesn’t stop at home. Prepare to change your lifestyle in the best ways possible, you seriously won’t regret it. THANK YOU SO MUCH going to go praise Misty now for being such a calm and well behaved dog!
