Our mission is to provide a safe, secure and clean "Home Away from Home". Bedding and toys are welcome but will be supervised.Please bring your dogs food with you. It is best to keep your dog on its regular diet.Normal routine for the kennel is the dogs are fed, watered and aired in the morning and as needed. They enjoy playtime in one of the twenty two airing yards morning and afternoon during the cooler hours. Midday, nature walks and pond swim playtime are also available by request. Be sure to ask us about Train & Board or Brush & Board.

Mill Pond Kennels offer two levels Dog Obedience Training Programs. Basic dog obedience is on lead training that will address most common issues and training with your dog such as leash pulling, teaching heel, stay (extended sit), here or come, NO, Jumping Up, etc… Advanced dog obedience is an add-on off-lead training program. In addition, Custom training programs can be designed to fit your family’s lifestyle. Mill Pond Kennels offers puppy, basic, and advanced group dog training classes as well as Private Dog Training Lessons. If you want to reach a terrific achievement with your dog, let us help you reach all the levels of the AKC Canine Good Citizen titles.

SO glad I reached out to Mill Pond Kennels on a whim when we were frustrated with a new puppy. Mark called me back the same day and gave me tons of informations. We were already SUPER impressed. Our puppy did a 6 week board and train program and that was the best investment for her and us as a family! She came back a new dog, of course we have homework to do still but such an improvement. Our pup was beyond hyperactive and more than a handful. Somehow Nikki was able to work with her. We got weekly video updates, which our kids loved, but it was so great to see the progress. The program is amazing. Nikki and Mark are such special animal people! They truly just understand dogs! Kyna also trimmed up her face while she was there and we will be back for grooming. Aspen loves going back and we’re firm believers in MPK. We only wish that we found you all sooner. Thank you for everything!!!

I found Mill Pond Kennels by chance. I sent a email requesting more info and Mark and Nikki were quick to respond. They answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I initially scheduled the 4 week day school program for my puppy. She was learning so quickly that during week 3 I opted for the E-collar training. I am extremely pleased with the training my puppy received. When I first brought her home I was afraid to let her off her leash for fear she would run away. Now, we play leash free at the park and the puppy never runs away or roams too far. My puppy is so well behaved bc of what she learned from Mill Pond. She doesn't jump on me or anyone else and she doesn't beg for food bc she learned the command, place. I highly recommend booking your puppy training with Mill Pond. You won't find anyone else with a better understanding of dogs and their needs!!
