Our German Shepherd Dog Bella was proving herself to be a challenge to train. We put her through obedience classes and could only get so far with her. She’s incredibly intelligent, but also strong-willed, and she was only willing to listen when she wanted to despite knowing many basic commands. She would bark at people and other dogs constantly, and she was very difficult to walk on a leash. Thus, we looked to Midwest Dog Training for help. Bella went through the 3 week program, and she came back a new dog. We are so impressed! She is now listening consistently; she is now reliably following commands. Taking her on walks is now a pleasant experience; she easily walks on a loose leash, mostly at our side, and no longer pulls. She redirects better with distractions and responds to the command “quiet,” which she outright refused to do in the past. I can't say enough good things about Chris and the training he provided for my dog, I thought he was a lost cause but when I went to pick up my dog he was a new dog, very well trained!!! He had never sat on command or done anything other than shake hands. Furthemore, I figure my big dog would come home skinny after being there for 3 weeks but he wasn't, he came back healthy and very well trained. Thank you Chris!!!!!!!!
