Midtown Mutts is a dog walking and dog training company. Our training facility and boutique is located in East Sacramento. Our in home training and pet care services cover the the greater Sacramento area. We offer customizable care for dogs, whether that be a quick potty break or a brisk 60 minutes walk.
We offer private dog training sessions, using science based, force free training methods and day training programs for busy dog owners. Puppy socialization classes help puppies gain confidence about the world around them. Our all ages group classes are a membership, flexible to schedule model.

Lee's compassion and concern saved her life. I have had great experience with everyone at MM for years and cannot say enough about the team that shows love and commitment above and beyond any expectations I could have. Midtown Mutts has been a great resource and support for us with training our puppy. Their approach is all reinforcement-based--no punishment--and it WORKS.
We got one-on-one training when she was really young, and it helped us work on things like leash pulling, jumping, and resource guarding. Now that she's older, we've taken her to probably 20 different classes through the Hound Culture membership, and each one has been a positive and productive experience.
These people know dogs, and I would recommend them to anyone setting out on the rewarding but often challenging journey of training a dog.

Cassi and her team are such gems of humans. We’ve attended her puppy classes and reactivity classes. We also went to some nosework classes! Everyone is so kind, accommodating and knowledgeable about dog behavior. We’ve always felt welcomed here and always left class with new knowledge and empowerment to help our little guy be confident.

We recently brought our new Great Pyrenees here for Puppy Preschool. It was a fantastic experience. Joann is a great trainer with an awesome vibe, clear communication, and instant rapport with the dogs. My pup grew in confidence by leaps and bounds during this course, and I also learned a lot of new tips and tricks. Highly recommend.
