By reestablishing some rules and boundaries, and additional reassurance from you, she soon realized she was safe and sound in her new home environment, under your leadership. The benefits of your efforts were clearly evident in seeing how comfortable Karma was on the recent pack walk. Keep up the good work!

Veda, thank you very much for the review. I knew when I met you that you were going to be a good dog owner and leader, as you had already laid some good ground rules for Remi. I came in as reinforcement only to help you shore up and fine tune his training, making it clear to him what he could and what he could not do, as he matures. Dogs thrive on structure and predictability and training doesn't really end, yet becomes a lifestyle. Remember the more you ask of him, the more you will get, and I have no doubt he will continue to flourish with your guidance.

Kim, thank you for the review. Often when people have dogs that are anxious and or nervous, it’s primarily due to the dog feeling insecure and lacking confidence. I was pleased to learn that you and Brian were both middle school teachers, because I then knew you had what it takes to to be good leaders for Mable. By making it really clear what you expected of her and introducing lots of structure, in terms of rules limitations and boundaries, her demeanor quickly began to change for the better. Khaled thanks so much for the review and feedback. Overall, Chop has a terrific easygoing temperament. She just needed guidance, knowing what you expected of her, and that she could feel safe and secure with you. As first time dog owners you did the right thing by seeking help right aways, in regards to navigating the often confusing and conflicting opinions surrounding owning a dog and training them. Having two dogs is often more like having three, which you almost did have once.
