Jim came highly recommended and has gone above and beyond what i expected. I interviewed several trainers and he stood out for many reasons.. He takes the time to come to your house, watches the temperament of your dog and evaulates what he feels the best course of action is and gives you several options. It's not cookie cutter and no dog is created equal. He truly has the dog's best interest at heart and his follow up asking about her and how she is doing after training reinforced that I made the best decision. Sadly, most typically they take your money for whatever service and they're done with you but not in this case. He follows up post training more than I thought and also gave daily updates, sometimes 2x a day during the board and train . I cannot recommend him enough. He is very thorough in explaining behaviors and genetics and will trat your dog (kid) like it's one of his own. He stands behind his word, so if you're thinking about it, do it or at least ask for a meet and greet.❤️🐶

Puppy academy was great! Jim was professional and knowledgeable! He gave us a lot of insight into how to treat a puppy in order to let it become the best household dog. We appreciated how he was able to talk us through what to expect and how to react to our dog. Lots of things to think about but I'm excited about this stepping stone for your dog journey! Highly recommend setting up some training with Jim!

Jim is awesome and focused on the practical and relational aspects of building a relationship with our companion animals. He focused on creating utility rather than impressive tricks and commands and has a beautiful formula for creating a mutually beneficial relationship between our companion animals and ourselves. I valued my time with him and know that Merlin will benefit from what we have learned. Highly recommend.
