Jim is super knowledgeable, kind, patient, and passionate about his work. You can tell he truly cares about the dog and getting the best outcome for the family. We did a short board and train with Jim for our 2 boxer dogs after welcoming a newborn baby to our family. We are so glad we did it - definitely worth it! Jim continues to check in, is always responsive, and takes the time to explain and answer any questions we have when working with our dogs.

Jim is an excellent trainer!! My dog Pluto and I began seeing Jim when Pluto was just shy of 7 months. A Black German Shepherd/Chocolate Lab mix, Pluto is a high energy and headstrong yet loyal breed, and I needed help to get Pluto under control. Jim helped me understand Pluto's breed behaviors and his puppy brain, which is an important aspect of Jim's training. We still deal with some of Pluto's remaining puppy brain, but I love seeing the dog I knew Pluto could be thanks to Jim's training.

Jim has shown immense patience with my dog that we are trying to socially rehab. No other trainer would put forth the time and effort required for this type of situation. It's very clear Jim sees himself as a true advocate for dogs and has made it his mission to help them and their owners to live better lives together. If you want a trainer that cares more for the success of the dog than cashing the check, this is your guy.

Jim was so amazing working with our dog, Hank. Being a Great Dane mix, we needed someone to help us teach him the basics and the connection he made with Hank is unmistakable. He did so much more than train Hank the basics and even taught us how to make a connection with him that instilled confidence in him and make our time together that more enjoyable. We are so thankful for Jim and would use him time and time again! Plus, Jim does an excellent job communicating their progress with amazing weekly updates while they’re gone with him!
