I've taken my GSD there, it's not badly priced. They are willing to work with your schedule too. If you cant make a certain day every week you can schedule your sessions every week if needed (private sessions).

I'm interested in group classes for my 3 yr old lab mix. She's very friendly & submissive, but jumps on me & has started to claim me as her own. I'm interested in pricing (& curriculum) for group classes.

It depends on which class you're interested in. We offer a variety of services and prices. The first step is to talk with one of our trainers during a Needs Assessment as that will determine which program or programs you should consider along with pricing. Prior to that talk its premature to talk about prices because then you will be comparing apples to oranges instead of apples to apples.

I wish I lived in Michigan. I would be here all the time with my dog George !He is a Standard bread poodle medical alert dog and he has boundless energy. It was very hard to channel him ( and I’m a trainer myself of service dogs now previously field trial retrievers)because he was so bouncy with no focus until we got a treadmill.(unless you are an Olympic runner you need a treadmill for a high energy dog)! He’s been doing the treadmill for a very long time and I thought it was time to make The transition from walking to running, as he is pon it for at least an hour and a half a day! However I couldn’t find any information online until I came to the Michigan dog training YouTube video with Michael I watched this video and used his guidance to make this transition, but I still had questions so I sent him an email. He called me.! I was overwhelmed. ! It was like being contacted by a rockstar to me.!dog training is not a job it’s a passion- it’s the desire to make a well rounded healthy dog who will have a fulfilled life !I also do rescue work and we get many dogs who have boundless energy sent to us because the owners can’t handle them . If only they had access to a trainer like Michael .if you live in Michigan or close to it. Get yourself on over there because this man knows how to train dogs. His technique is impressive !I am a dedicated follower of his from now on!

We live close enough I was able to drop her off in the morning and pick her up late afternoon. She was happy every morning at drop off. Looking back at where we started with her and where we are now, I am so impressed with Tully and all the trainers at MDT. Michael and the staff at MDT are easy and enjoyable to work with, knowledgeable and truly love the work they do.

Mike and his team helped us greatly with the very anxious 4 yr old standard poodle we adopted. The chance to have him meet other dogs and people in a controlled safe space translated into being able to walk him in the neighborhood without chaos. We also got training to teach him to go to “place” which helped home life greatly. We will miss our weekly trips!
