I've taken my GSD there, it's not badly priced. They are willing to work with your schedule too. If you cant make a certain day every week you can schedule your sessions every week if needed (private sessions).

I'm interested in group classes for my 3 yr old lab mix. She's very friendly & submissive, but jumps on me & has started to claim me as her own. I'm interested in pricing (& curriculum) for group classes.

It depends on which class you're interested in. We offer a variety of services and prices. The first step is to talk with one of our trainers during a Needs Assessment as that will determine which program or programs you should consider along with pricing. Prior to that talk its premature to talk about prices because then you will be comparing apples to oranges instead of apples to apples.

For context, I am a Veteran who was medically retired due to service-related disabilities. My provider recommended that a service dog could help enhance my quality of life, which led me to Michigan Dog Training with my dog, Cleo, a Maltese, to begin her journey as a service dog. Service dogs truly come in all sizes—and Cleo is proof of that. Before training, she barked frequently and had a lot of energy. However, through their program, she became incredibly obedient. Over time, even my family began to notice and comment on how much she had improved, which meant a lot to me. It was a pleasure working with Michael and his team. Cleo started with basic obedience and progressed into specialized service dog tasks, training around other dogs, and public access work. I’m very pleased with how professional, kind, and informative everyone was throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a dog trainer. Thank you all so much for helping us—we truly appreciate it!

Our puppy Ember is an excited Red Fox Lab. MDT was amazing with her training. We signed up for the 8 week day training and I would highly recommend it. They offer shorter programs, however, we found that the 8 week was the perfect timeframe to sculpt a high energy puppy into a well mannered and attentive companion. Very happy with the staff and training course.
