I shot what I thought was 10 point in an open field at almost dark. I could not find any blood trail at where I thought I shot the deer or where I thought it entered the woods. It was raining/snowing and even though I had a good idea of where it entered the woods I did not want to take a chance in looking for a blood trail and not finding one and contaminating the track. I called 2 other trackers and I didn't feel comfortable with there responses to my questions. I then found Jared and I explained the sequence of events and he assured me that we would find the deer even without blood. Jared and chloe arrived 18 hours after I shot the deer and I showed them where I thought I last saw the deer enter the woods. I was so excited and it almost being dark after the shot i could not be 100% sure. Chloe immediately picked up the track and started tracking. After about 50 yards we found the deer. And to me and my hunting partners surprise it was the 12 point that we have been after since the beginning of the season. We looked for blood where it died and there was not a speck of blood. The slug entered the front shoulder and didn't exit hitting the heart. I thought I made a good shot but not coming across any blood I was afraid that I made either a liver or gut shot. And yes it only went about 50 yards and I probably could have found it myself but what if it had ran a couple hundred yards with no blood trail. I have no doubt that if that deer ran a mile chloe would've found him. The dog is amazing. If I didn't see it with my own eyes I wouldn't believe it. Like all the other post state, I hope I will never have to use chloe, but if I do, Jared is now in my contacts. He was totally professional, friendly and best of all assured me that we would find my deer. Which he did. Whether u have a trophy buck or just a small deer for the dinner table don't hesitate to call Jared. Thank you so much Jared and chloe.

Jared and Chloe were amazing! From the first text Jared was helpful, informative and answered every question I threw at him ( and there were many!) Quickly and professionally. Showed up on time and Chloe led us to my liver shot buck. Could not have been a better experience after a long stressful day of having to walk away from a not so perfectly shot deer. Chloe is a rockstar and Jared was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend...... although no offence Jared......I hope I never have to call you for this again 🤣
